NAZENDE follows Shopify's Online Store 2.0 accessibility guidance as a baseline, with a few specific features worth knowing about.
Skip to content
Pressing Tab on page load reveals a "Skip to content" link before anything else, letting keyboard and screen-reader users jump straight past the header and navigation into the main page content.
Keyboard navigation
Interactive elements — menus, the cart drawer, Quick View, search, and forms — are reachable and operable using only a keyboard, following standard patterns (Tab to move between controls, Enter or Space to activate, Escape to close overlays like modals and drawers).
Focus states
Interactive elements show a visible focus indicator when reached by keyboard, including the search field, so keyboard users always know where they are on the page.
Semantic structure
Pages use a single, correctly-placed <main> landmark and semantic headings, so assistive technology can navigate the page structure rather than relying only on visual layout.
Alt text guidance
NAZENDE displays whatever alt text is set on an image in Shopify's media library. It does not generate or guess alt text on your behalf — for the best experience for screen-reader users, add a short, descriptive alt text to each product and content image when you upload it.
