Getting Started
Getting Started with NAZENDE
A quick orientation to installing NAZENDE, finding your way around the Shopify Theme Editor, and publishing the theme to your storefront.
Installing NAZENDE
NAZENDE is distributed as a standard Shopify theme package (a .zip file). To install it:
- In your Shopify admin, go to Online Store → Themes.
- Under Theme library, click Add theme → Upload theme.
- Select the NAZENDE
.zipfile and upload it. - The theme appears in your theme library as an unpublished theme, ready to customize before you publish it.
If you purchased NAZENDE through the Shopify Theme Store, Shopify adds it to your theme library automatically — you can skip the manual upload step and go straight to customizing.
Opening the Shopify Theme Editor
From Online Store → Themes, click Customize on the NAZENDE theme. This opens Shopify's built-in Theme Editor, where every section of NAZENDE — the header, homepage, product page, cart, and more — can be rearranged, configured, and styled without editing code.
Understanding the theme structure
NAZENDE is built on Shopify's Online Store 2.0 architecture, which means each page is made of independent, reorderable sections, and many sections accept blocks (smaller repeatable pieces, like an individual hero slide or a footer column) inside them.
- Templates (home, product, collection, cart, search, and so on) define which sections appear on each page type, and in what order.
- Sections are the building blocks of a page — for example the Hero, Featured Collection, or Editorial Story sections on the homepage.
- Blocks live inside a section — for example each slide inside the Hero section, or each column inside the Footer.
- Theme settings apply globally across every page — typography, color schemes, layout spacing, and more. See Theme Setup.
Publishing the theme
Once you're happy with your customization, go back to Online Store → Themes, find NAZENDE in your theme library, and click the ⋯ menu next to it, then Publish. Shopify will confirm before switching your live storefront to NAZENDE.
