Localization & Markets

Localization & Markets

NAZENDE displays whatever languages and markets you've configured in Shopify — it doesn't add a separate localization system of its own.

Shopify Markets

Setting up regions, currencies, and (optionally) localized pricing is done under Settings → Markets in your Shopify admin. NAZENDE reads that configuration to decide what to show — it does not include its own currency-conversion or market-management logic.

Language and currency switching

When your store has more than one published language, or more than one market/country available, NAZENDE shows a compact switcher (shared between the header and footer) letting customers pick their language and see the local currency. If your store only has a single language and a single market, the switcher doesn't render at all — there is nothing for a customer to switch between.

Translated storefront text

NAZENDE's own interface text (buttons, labels, and messages) ships in English and can be translated using Shopify's native Translate and adapt tooling under Settings → Languages, the same mechanism used for any Online Store 2.0 theme.

What NAZENDE doesn't do

NAZENDE does not perform its own currency conversion, geolocation redirects, or automatic translation — all of that is Shopify Markets and Shopify's translation platform, configured once in your admin and reflected automatically by the theme.
